TexasCollegeandCareer.org is a no-cost college and career planning resource for Texas students, families and school counselors in middle and high schools. The Texas Education Agency enabled the creation of Texas College & Career to help students achieve their college and career goals.

Online Family Academy

A series of free, monthly webinar sessions focused on specific interest topics is also offered to families to participate in the college and career planning with their students.  All you need is access to a computer. 

Take advantage of the resources and easy-to-view videos available on-demand in the Texas College & Career Training Center's On-line Family Academy at your convenience. Videos range in topics such as Getting Started, Building Student Portfolios, Do You Need Money for College?, and more!


Collegeweeklive.com is a cool website for students who are searching for ideas about what college or university to attend.  Students set up an account and have access to live chat sessions with different colleges daily.  Several times a year the website hosts a College Fair.  Hundreds of colleges offer live feeds, live chats, interviews, and advice at these online fairs.
