Dear Austwell-Tivoli ISD Community,
The district is proud to announce that it has been awarded the Texas Education Agency Summer Career and Technical Education (CTE) Grant. This grant will support expanded summer learning opportunities for students through hands-on, career-focused experiences. Through this funding, A-T ISD will continue to strengthen its CTE programs by providing students with opportunities to explore high-demand career pathways, build real-world skills, and connect learning to future college, career, and workforce goals.
Student learning through the program will take place in two different ways. The first learning opportunity will be for students entering 8th and 9th grades for the 2026–2027 school year. A-T ISD CTE staff will host a three-week program (June 1–19) during which students will explore CTE pathways in Information Technology, Architecture and Construction, and Agriculture, Food, & Natural Resources.
The second learning opportunity will be for students entering 10th–12th grades for the 2026–2027 school year. A-T ISD CTE staff will lead a three-week Work-Based Learning program (June 1–19) in which students will have the opportunity to earn pay while learning real-world workplace skills in the areas of Information Technology, Architecture and Construction, and Agriculture, Food, & Natural Resources.
We are excited about the positive impact this grant will have on our students and the district as a whole. Austwell-Tivoli ISD remains committed to preparing students for success beyond graduation through meaningful learning experiences, strong CTE programming, and continued community support.
